As the owner of one of those uber-viral belt bags, and I can confirm it's worth the hype. It holds just the right amount of stuff, can be worn as a crossbody or belt pack, and works for walks, hikes, travel, and errands. (There's a reason we gave it a PS Fitness Award!) Unfortunately, it often sells out, and it may not fit into everyone's athleisure budget. Thankfully, there are several near-replicas of the original viral belt bag on Amazon, and one of the top-rated choices is on sale for its lowest price ever this Amazon Prime Day.

Amazon's budget-friendly alternative is called the Telena Belt Bag ($8, originally $12), and it looks just like the real thing. Better yet, it costs almost three times less than the original, so you can score the same style for under $10. The bag comes with a lot of the same features as the original viral belt bag. It has a main compartment and three mesh slots for keeping valuables secure. The material is water-resistant, and the adjustable straps and bucket allow you to wear it as a crossbody, a belt bag, or a fanny pack. It's available in a whopping 31 different colorways, along with sherpa, puffer, and quilted textures. We especially love the pink and beige options.

Over 5,000 Amazon reviewers have given the Telena bag five stars, praising it for being "stylish and practical," roomy, and "high-quality." As one reviewer writes: "So much can fit inside of the pouch — it's like a Mary Poppins bag and I'm always impressed with how much I can fit in it." Shoppers report using it for theme park outings, hikes, travel, and in lieu of a purse.

One of the only downsides reviewers note is that the main zipper has a tendency to open a bit too much. "My only very minor complaint is the zipper opens very wide so if you have something heavy like your phone in there just be careful when fully unzipping as something could fall out," one customer writes.

It might not be the exact same quality as the pricier original, but if you're looking for a more affordable belt bag, this Amazon pick is the best of the best. Get in on the sale and grab a belt bag of your own before Prime Day ends.
